Farfel Kugel

- 2 onions shopping list
- 2 stalks celery, peeled and finely sliced shopping list
- About 5 mushrooms shopping list
- 2 garlic cloves, chopped or minced shopping list
- 1 carrot, grated shopping list
- 4 eggs shopping list
- 3 cups Matza Farfel shopping list
- a pinch of salt shopping list
- 1/4 tsp. pepper shopping list
How to make it
- In a frying pan saute vegetables until lightly browned (onions, celery, mushrooms and garlic until they are soft).
- Add grated carrot.
- When the vegetables are cooked, remove from pan.
- Beat the eggs.
- Place approximately 3 cups of Matza Farfel in large bowl, wet with boiled water until it is soft.
- Allow to soak for approximately 5 minutes.
- Drain in colander.
- Mix eggs, Farfel and vegetables together.
- Add salt and pepper for taste.
- Bake in a greased Pyrex dish at 350 degrees for approximately 1 hour.
