Rhubarb Custard Dessert Recipe

Ingredients

Custard:

1 1/2 C. sugar

3 T. flour

1/2 t. nutmeg

1 T. butter

2 eggs

Crumb Topping:

1/2 C. sugar

1/3 C. butter

3/4 C. flour

Directions

Place cut-up rhubarb in buttered baking dish. Blend flour, sugar, nutmeg, and butter. Add eggs to the sugar mix and beat until smooth. Pour over rhubarb. For the topping; blend sugar, flour, and butter until crumbly. Sprinkle over ruhbarb and custard. Bake at ~450 for 10 minutes, then lower heat to ~350 and continue baking for 30 minutes.
