How to make it

  • In a cup mix the water, sugar and the yeast.
  • Let sit. In a large bowl, combine margarine and flour.
  • Add eggs and yeast to flour mixture.
  • Knead the dough until smooth and soft.
  • Divide dough into thirds.
  • Pour 1/4 cup of the filling on the baking surface.
  • Place dough on top of filling.
  • Roll out until you have a nice circle.
  • Spread 1/4 cup of filling on top of the dough.
  • Cut into 12 pieces in the shape of pie slices.
  • Roll each of the 12 pieces from large end to small end and place on cookie sheet, point side down.
  • Bake at 350 for 20 minutes until brown. Makes 36 cookies.
