No-fuss icing

This is great for icing holiday cookies. It makes enough to glaze several dozen cookies and can be flavored with vanilla, peppermint or other favorite extract.
Ingredients
- 1-2 tablespoons milk shopping list
- 1 cup confectioners' sugar shopping list
- food coloring, optional and of choice shopping list
- 2-3 drops flavored extract, optional shopping list
How to make it
- With small whisk or fork, combine 1 tablespoon milk and confectioners' sugar in a small bowl until soft and smooth.
- Stir in optional food coloring and flavoring if desired.
- If mixture becomes to stiff, add milk in very small increments until desired consistency is reached.

I use this recipe but I add a tbsp of corn syrup to add shine and help it set! Great post!
