Honey Whole Wheat Bread Recipe

Ingredients
  • 3 cups of whole wheat flour
  • 1/2 cup of nonfat dry milk
  • 1 Tablespoon of salt
  • 2 packages of dry yeast
  • 3 cups of water
  • 1/2 cup of honey
  • 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil
  • 4 - 4 1/2 cups of flour

Directions
  1. Combine 3 cups of whole wheat flour, dry milk, slat and yeast. Heat water, honey, oil, until warm. Pour wam liquic over flour mixture.
  2. With a mixer, blend at low speed for one minute and then at medium speed for two minutes.
  3. Stir into remaining whole wheat flour. Add regular flour.
  4. Turn out onto floured surface and knead until smooth.
  5. Place in a large buttered bowl, turn to coat top.
  6. cover and let rise in warm place until double in bulk (45-55) minutes.
  7. Punch down; divide in half. Place in two 9 x 5 loaf pans; let rise until almost double in bulk.
  8. Bake at 375 degrees for 45 minutes.
