How to make it

  • sift together dry ingredients
  • with electric mixer, cream together margarine and crisco
  • beat in vanilla and egg with the creamed mixture
  • add dry ingredients and beat until smooth
  • grease your cookie sheet
  • drop a teaspoon at a time onto the cookie sheet
  • slightly flatten each cookie with the bottom of a glass or measuring cup that has been dipped in sugar
  • bake at 400 degrees for about 8 minutes or until edges are lightly browned

    Flaky, tender, delicious. Loved it! I used butter and not margarine and crisco, though. Maybe that helped?

    I had a sweet tooth bad today. I lost count how many sugar cookie recipes I searched till I came across yours. Finaly one with no chilling. Had to try it. After a tall glass of Milk and lost count on cookies Im stuffed and Very Happy with this recipe. Thanks for Sharing...
