Habanero Salsa Recipe
This has fire, but also a wonderful flavor. It is especially good and flavorful with added fruit. Hot and sweet it becomes with added dimension.

Ingredients
  • 5 habanero peppers
  • 3 medium tomatoes (I like Roma tomatoes, have to use more)
  • 1 medium onion, finely chopped
  • 1/3 cup cilantro, finely chopped
  • 5 garlic cloves
  • 1/8 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/8 teaspoon white pepper
  • salt to taste
  • 1 (8 ounce) can tomato sauce
  • 3/4 teaspoon dried oregano
  • MAY ADD either fresh pineapple, 1 small can drained crushed pineapple, chopped mango, or 1 tablespoon seedless raspberry preserves AFTER all is mixed. This will add some sweetness to the salsa.
  • NOTE: Remove seeds from peppers, and it will be a little hot. Leave the seeds and it will be firey!

Directions
  1. Finely chop and combine all fresh ingredients except garlic. Press garlic into mixture. Add black and white pepper, salt, oregano and tomato sauce. Mix well.
  2. If adding fruit, add last
