green pepper jelly

- 6 large green peppers, cut in pieces shopping list
- 1 1/2 c. cider vinegar shopping list
- 6 c. sugar shopping list
- 1/2 tsp.salt shopping list
- 3/4 tsp. crushed red pepper shopping list
- 2 pouches lliquid pectin shopping list
- green food coloring shopping list
How to make it
- Put half the green peppers and half the vinegar into a blender and liquify. Pour into a saucepan. Repeat with remaining peppers and vinegar. Add red pepper, sugar and salt. Bring to a boil and add pectin. Boil until it thickens when dropped from a spoon (ABOUT 20 MINUTES) Add a few drops of green food coloring. Pour into hot sterilized jars and seal.
