Baked Spaghetti

- 1 C chopped onions shopping list
- 1 c Chopped green pepper shopping list
- 1 tbsp butter shopping list
- 1 can (28oz) tomatoes with liquid, cut up. shopping list
- 1 can (4oz) mushroom stems & pieces, drained shopping list
- 1 can (2 1/4oz) sliced black olives, drained shopping list
- 2 tsp dried oregano shopping list
- 1 lb ground beef, browned & drained shopping list
- 12 oz spaghetti, cooked & drained shopping list
- 2 c (8oz) shredded cheddar cheese shopping list
- 1 can condensed cream of mushroom soup, undiluted shopping list
- 1/4 c water shopping list
- 1/4 c grated parmesan cheese shopping list
How to make it
- In a large skillet, saute onion and green pepper in butter until tender. Add tomatoes, mushrooms, olives and oregano. Add ground beef. Simmer, uncovered for 10 minutes. Place half of the spaghetti in a greased 13" x 9" x 2" baking dish. Top with half of the vegetable mixture. Sprinkle with 1 cup of cheddar cheese. Repeat layers. Mix the soup and water until smooth, pour over the casserole. Sprinkle with parmesan cheese. Bake, uncovered at 350 deg. for 30-35 mnutes or until heated through.
