Ingredients

How to make it

  • Melt jelly in saucepan
  • Add almond extract
  • Place drained pears in jelly
  • Simmer 20 minutes
  • Serve hot or cold
  • Suggestions for serving:
  • Beautiful served cold and filled with whipped cream cheese, toasted almonds, and a little grated lemon zest then arranged on a bed of pretty lettuce (other than Iceberg)
  • Beautiful served cold in a clear bowl
  • Beautiful surrounding a large piece of meat or poultry

    My hubby isn't one for meat cooked in / with fruit sauces, etc...but I most certainly am! This is a wonderful compromise, and easy to make! Thanks for the great post!
