Memphis Glazed Pears In Red Currant Jelly

- 10 ounces red currant jelly shopping list
- 1 teaspoon almond extract shopping list
- 1 large can bartlett pears, drained shopping list
How to make it
- Melt jelly in saucepan
- Add almond extract
- Place drained pears in jelly
- Simmer 20 minutes
- Serve hot or cold
- Suggestions for serving:
- Beautiful served cold and filled with whipped cream cheese, toasted almonds, and a little grated lemon zest then arranged on a bed of pretty lettuce (other than Iceberg)
- Beautiful served cold in a clear bowl
- Beautiful surrounding a large piece of meat or poultry
