My Big Fat Greek Familys Fab Lentils

- 1 bag lentils shopping list
- 3 cups chicken broth shopping list
- 1/2 cup onion shopping list
- 3/4 cup matchstick carrots shopping list
- 4 bay leaves shopping list
- 6 oz tomato paste shopping list
- 1/3 cup olive oil shopping list
- 1/2 cup flour shopping list
- 1/8 cup + 1 TBSP balsamic vinegar shopping list
How to make it
- Wash lentils well
- Place into stockpot
- Pour chicken broth over lentils 1 inch
- Put in carrots, onions & bay leaves in next
- Boil til somewhat thick
- Mix tomato paste and olive oil together & place in stockpot with lentils.
- Mix 1/2 cup flour with water til thin and add to lentil mixture
- Next mix in balsamic vinegar
- Simmer 20-45 minutes, and ENJOY your DIVA-licious lentils! Please let me know how much you LOVE them!

Wow! I'd never thought of Balsamic in the lentils! I've GOT to try this recipe now. (I might add some chopped spinach.)
