How to make it

  • Simmer all the sauce ingredients over low heat and stir until thoroughly blended.
  • Preheat oven to 300 degrees. Bake ribs, basting frequently, until tender, approximately 1-1/2 hours.

    Wow, these were good. I've never been to a Bar-B-Barn so I have nothing to compare to but I loved the flavor of this sauce! I did turn my oven up to 350 after 1/2 hour as my ribs were thick (country style) and it seemed like 300 would not be enough. They were perfect! Still moist on the inside. This is a great sauce for rib and I even think it would work for chicken. Used real garlic instead of powder. I added a picture. Put a thread in IMI on 4/5/13. Montreal Bar B Barn Pork Ribs

    I'm trying this Bar-B-Barn recepie. I'm from Montreal so its part of my history and that of most Montrealers.

    I'm sure it will bring back those great Montreal memories--line-ups and all!
