This is a Dutch /German . It is a light, airy pancake.Have everyone waiting at the table. Best when right out of oven before it deflates too much It looks like a pancake with sides .From Byzantine Fathers Recipe Book 1993.

This is a family favorite, and ALWAYS such a hit when we have company...it's like a giant pop-over. So good with fruit, or syrup or some cinnamon sugar. This one is a 5 every time (but it won't "pop" if you use a non-stick pan!).
