Really easy and yet tasty dessert. i loved these as a kid. i make mines huge but this recipe should serve 12.

Ingredients
  • 2 Eggs
  • 1/2 Cup Sugar
  • 1ts Food Coloring

Directions
  1. Preheat oven to 200 degrees F. and flour a large baking sheet, knocking off excess flour.
  2. In a bowl with an electric mixer beat whites until they hold soft peaks.
  3. Gradually add sugar and coloring beating, and beat until meringue holds stiff, glossy peaks.
  4. place about 1 inch apart onto baking sheet and bake in middle of oven 45 minutes
  5. Turn oven off and leave meringues in oven 1 hour more.
  6. With a metal spatula transfer meringues to a rack to cool completely.
  7. they last about a week in a air thight container.
  8. PICTURE COMING THEY STILL IN THE OVEN.
