Maple Teriyaki Salmon Fillets Recipe
This recipe came from an estate sale. I obtained it when I purchased the family collection from the Hanna Estate in Forney, Texas in 1991.

Ingredients
  • 1/3 cup apple juice
  • 1/3 cup maple syrup
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons finely chopped onion
  • 2 garlic cloves minced
  • 4 salmon fillets

Directions
  1. In a bowl combine first five ingredients.
  2. Remove 1/2 cup for basting then cover and refrigerate.
  3. Pour remaining marinade into a large plastic bag.
  4. Add salmon then seal bag and turn to coat.
  5. Refrigerate for an hour then drain and discard marinade.
  6. Broil salmon 4" from heat for 5 minutes.
  7. Baste with reserved marinade then broil 10 minutes longer basting frequently.
