Zesty Italian Chicken Recipe

Zesty Italian Chicken Recipe
This was a simple experiment that my family loved. It only took about 5 minuets to cut up the peppers and onion and that was the extent of the prep. It goes really well witrh rice.

Ingredients
  • 4 boneless skinless chicken breast (I use frozen and do not thaw them before hand)
  • 1 can chicken broth
  • 10 1/2ounces of Zesty Italian salad dressing (about 2/3 of a 16 oz bottle)
  • 1/2 red bell pepper - chopped large
  • 1/2 yellow bell pepper – chopped large
  • 1/2 large onion – chopped large

Directions
  1. In a large skillet put chicken, chicken broth, Zesty Italian, peppers, and onion.
  2. Cook over medium high heat with the lid on for 30 minutes.
  3. Turn every 5 or 6 minutes.
  4. In the last 10 minuets the sauce will thicken and caramelize a little.
  5. Watch for sticking.
  6. Serve with the sauce over the top.
