A unique dish that is bound to surprise you. Onions and cabbage are sauted in bacon drippings. A smidge of vinegar gives this dish a tang you're sure to enjoy.

I have been frying my cabbage almost like this for many years. the way i cook it is...i fry the bacon and remove to drain, then place sliced cabbage into drippings, cover it and cook for five minutes, uncover and turn cabbage over. replace cover and cook till tender, then i salt and pepper it and add the onions and bacon and fry for 5 min. add the vinegar and toss and serve.i never add sugar to mine because i like it tangy.
