How to make it

  • Preheat oven to 450 degrees.
  • Wash the chicken wings and place in a zip-lock bag.
  • Add the soy sauce.
  • Marinate at least 2 hours, the longer the better.
  • Put enough water in a 11x13x2" pan so it does not dry out during cooking.
  • Place a rack on top of pan.
  • Lay the wings on top of the rack and put in oven (can use broiler pan, but this method prevents smoking).
  • Bake for 20 minutes or until golden on top; carefully pull the rack out and butter each wing; turn the wings and bake 20 minutes longer or until golden; butter this side and place the wings on serving plate.
