How to make it

  • Melt caramels over low heat with the milk.
  • Melt chocolate to a smooth consistency. (I use the microwave)
  • On a cookie sheet, Place 2 pecans beside each other
  • Take another pecan piece, dip in melted caramel and place on top of the other 2 pecan pieces.(this holds them together)
  • Spoon more caramel over the nuts.
  • Doing this procedure continue forming your turtles.
  • Place in freezer until caramel is set.
  • When set, dip the turtles into melted chocolate to completely cover it.(I use 2 forks to do this)
  • Refrigerate until completey set.
  • Store in an airtight container and keep in a cool place.
  • Enjoy!!!!
