Japanese Sesame Spinach From Moosehead Restaurant Recipe

Ingredients
- 16-20 ounces of fresh spinach
- 2 tablespoons sesame seeds
- 2 teaspoons of sugar
- 1 tablespoon of soy sauce
Directions
- Clean and prep spinach.
- Steam for 2-3 minutes until wilted but bright green. Set aside
- Roast sesame seeds in dry skillet until golden.
- Crush seeds with rolling pin.
- Combine sugar and soy until sugar is dissolved.
- Mix in sesame seeds.
- Mix above sauce with spinach.
- Serve hot or cold

Sounds great, maybe i can get my sis to eat spinach like this too.. she liked the spinach potato soup i made and she loves anything Japanese, so maybe just maybe she will take to this one too ;) let's hope so!

I just tried this; it's pretty tasty. I've never really used sesame seeds before, but after trying the sesame spinach I think I'll use them more in future. Thanks for the recipe.
