How to make it

  • Clean and prep spinach.
  • Steam for 2-3 minutes until wilted but bright green. Set aside
  • Roast sesame seeds in dry skillet until golden.
  • Crush seeds with rolling pin.
  • Combine sugar and soy until sugar is dissolved.
  • Mix in sesame seeds.
  • Mix above sauce with spinach.
  • Serve hot or cold

    I just tried this; it's pretty tasty. I've never really used sesame seeds before, but after trying the sesame spinach I think I'll use them more in future. Thanks for the recipe.

    Sounds great, maybe i can get my sis to eat spinach like this too.. she liked the spinach potato soup i made and she loves anything Japanese, so maybe just maybe she will take to this one too ;) let's hope so!
