Cavatelli And Broccoli Recipe

Ingredients

1 lb bag Frozen Cavatelli or favorite pasta

1 bunch Fresh Broccoli

1-2 Cloves fresh garlic or more if desired

olive oil

1/4 stick butter

1 cup chicken broth (use a cube)

Grated romano cheese

crushed red and or black pepper to taste

Directions

Cook Cavatelli or pasta as directed on package

Chop broccoli

Chop garlic and toast in olive oil

Add broccoli, stir fry like for a couple of minutes.

Add chicken broth and simmer

Drain Cavatelli or pasta

Melt butter in pasta pot

Return Cavatelli to pot

Add grated Romano cheese and stir

Add broccoli and broth to Cavatelli an mix well

Add crushed red pepper and or black pepper and grated Romano cheese to individual servings to taste

Serve with fresh Italian bread and salad
