Ingredients

3 apples sliced thin unpeeled

1 cup crushed pineapple drained (reserve juice)

1/2 teaspoon cinnamon

1-1/2 teaspoons granulated sugar

1/4 cup pineapple juice

Directions

Slice apples into baking dish.

Sprinkle pineapple over apples and sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon.

Pour juice over

Bake in microwave 7 minutes.

This is a wonderful recipe. I used up some gala apples, which are not even normally used in baking, but with the pineapple, they were delicious. I did butter my dish and dotted the fruit with a tablespoon of butter. I did not have a microwave oven, so I put it in a 350 degree conventional oven for 25 minutes. I will make this dish again. Thanks for the great recipe.
