Sauteed Asparagus with Morels and Thyme

- kosher salt shopping list
- 1 pound asparagus trimmed shopping list
- 1-1/2 tablespoons butter shopping list
- 1 teaspoon olive oil shopping list
- 2 ounces fresh morels sliced shopping list
- 1 teaspoon fresh thyme chopped shopping list
- 1 teaspoon salt shopping list
- 2 teaspoons freshly ground black pepper shopping list
How to make it
- Bring an inch or two of water in a skillet to a boil with a teaspoon of salt.
- Have a large bowl of ice water standing by in the sink.
- Add the asparagus to the boiling water and cook 5 minutes.
- Remove spears to the ice water.
- When the asparagus spears have cooled drain and set aside.
- Heat butter and oil in a large skillet over medium high heat until butter stops foaming.
- Add morels, asparagus, thyme, salt and pepper.
- Stir until morels are wilted and asparagus is just heated through.
