Lemon Cake

- 1 box yellow cake mix shopping list
- 4 eggs shopping list
- 3/4 c. oil shopping list
- 1 tsp. lemon extract shopping list
- 1 pkg. lemon Jello shopping list
- glaze shopping list
- 1 c. powdered sugar shopping list
- Enough lemon juice to make it soupy shopping list
How to make it
- Dissolve Jello in 1 cup hot water and let cool. Beat first 4 ingredients for about 1 minute. Pour in Jello after it cools and beat another minute. Pour in greased 9 x 13 cake pan. Bake at 325 degree for 30 minutes. When done, poke holes in cake almost all the way to the bottom of the pan - I use a chopstick - and cover with glaze. Let it soak in good, cut and serve!

Great recipe that I have made for years. It is an old TandT..absolutely delicious with coffee. In fact, I ate a piece in a high end coffee shop this summer. The last time I baked it, I left out the lemon extract..didn't have any. Baked it in a Bundt...more
