Southwest Spice Rub Recipe
This rub is great for chicken or pork in southwestern cooking.

Ingredients
  • 4 tablespoons cumin powder
  • 4 tablespoons chili powder
  • 4 tablespoons onion powder
  • 2 tablespoons cinnamon
  • 2 tablespoons garlic powder
  • 3 teaspoons cayenne pepper
  • 3 teaspoons salt

Directions
  1. Combine thoroughly in bowl.
  2. Use as needed
  3. Store in dry, air tight container
  4. Serving Ideas : Sprinkle/rub liberally on chicken: grill, broil, or cook in crockpot. Use shredded chicken in enchiladas, burritos, or as a carne. Season to taste in ground beef or ground chicken/turkey after browning, for taco meat. Use in refried beans for spice.
