Mayo Chocolate Syrup Cake Recipe

I found this tonight. I love mayo chocolate cake. This one has syrup. Let me know if anyone tries it.

Ingredients
- Beat together the following ingredients:
- ½ Cup Mayonnaise
- 1 Cup Sugar
- 4 eggs beaten in one at a time
- 1 16-ounce can Hershey’s chocolate syrup
- 1 cup plus one tablespoon flour
- Pour into a greased and floured 9x 13 pan; bake 25 minutes at 350 degrees.
Directions
- Frosting:
- 1 Stick melted butter
- 2/3 Cup Cocoa Powder
- 3 Cups Powdered Sugar
- 1/3 Cup Milk
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- Stir Cocoa powder into butter; alternately add powdered sugar and milk while beating on medium speed; add vanilla. Beat until desired consistency. Adding very small amounts of milk if necessary to make it a spreading consistency

I love Mayo cake too. It is so wonderfully moist. This may be very dense because of the number of eggs, and only 1 cup flour. It does sound incredibly good! May try it tomorrow. Great recipe! Never have seen this one before.

LOL, Deb, really I am not a chocolate fan, lmao...seriously. But it has to be really good. lol I love my chocolate moist cake recipe..in a pinch I will make the mayo cake. Love moist chocolte cakes.
