Well I had decided I was going to make this yesterday, and at about 6:00 realized I hadn't started it in the crockpot yet. I still really wanted to make it, though, so I decided to do it on the stovetop instead. I cooked the potatoes, onions and veggies in water until the potatoes were soft, then added the rest of the ingredients. It turned out perfectly, I think. My girls absolutely loved it. I think I will try it again, in the crockpot this time. But I imagine it was just as good on the stovetop, for those of you who are in a hurry.

BTW, I meant to rate this as a 5, not a 4. But it won't let me change it. It really is a 5. This stuff is delicious! (even better the next day!)
