How to make it

  • Preheat oven to 400 degrees
  • using a 9 by 9 inch square nonstick baking pan melt the butter in the oven
  • stir in the 2/3 cup brown sugar and the light corn syrup
  • spread the mixture evenly in the pan
  • sprinkle with the pecans
  • in large bowl mix the baking mix sweet potatoes and milk untll the dough forms a ball
  • turn dough out onto a surface dusted with the baking mix and knead several times
  • roll or pat into a 12 inch rectangle
  • sprinkle with the 3 tablespoons of brown sugar and the cranberries
  • roll up jellyroll style and cut into one inch pieces
  • arrange atop the butter mix in the pan
  • dough will spread when baking
  • bake for 25 to 30 minutes until golden brown
  • turn upside down onto serving platter immediatly
