How to make it

  • Melt butter; stir in flour. Add broth, stirring constantly, until thick, then add to butter mixture. Remove from heat; add remaining ingredients, except cream. Cook on low in slow cooker 4 to 6 hours; add cream the last 20 minutes.

    Oh, I love Beer Cheese soup. I haven't had it in years! (15 to be exact! LOL) I will definitely have to try your recipe.

    I love Beer Cheese Soup - garnished with lots and lots of buttery popcorn (at least that's how they like to serve it in the midwest!). I will definitely have to try this one...sounds delish.
