This recipe has been handed down for several generations in my family. We love it at Thanksgiving.

Ingredients
  • 9 inch pie shell
  • 3 eggs
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 cup dark Karo
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 Tablespoon vanilla
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted
  • 1 cup Pecans

Directions
  1. Preheat oven to 375.
  2. Beat eggs well and add sugar, Karo, salt and vanilla.
  3. Beat and stir in butter and pecans.
  4. Pour into pie shell
  5. Bake for 45 to 50 minutes.
  6. If outer edge of crust is getting too brown cover with foil last few minutes.
