Caramel Brownies Recipe
Gooey caramel and chocolate. So easy and quick. I never have any leftovers to bring home when I make this for my office mates

Ingredients
  • 1 box German Chocolate Cake mix
  • 1/2 c. melted butter
  • 1/3 c. evaporated milk
  • 6 oz. semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 14 oz. bag Kraft caramels, unwrapped
  • 1/3 c. evaporated milk

Directions
  1. Pre-heat oven to 350º
  2. Melt caramels with 1/3 c. evaporated milk on low, stirring constantly until smooth.
  3. Remove from heat, but keep warm.
  4. Mix cake mix with melted butter and 1/3 c. evaporated milk. Batter will have a dough-like consistency.
  5. Spread half the batter in a greased 9x13” baking pan and bake for 6 minutes.
  6. Remove from oven and sprinkle chocolate chips over batter.
  7. Pour melted caramel mixture over chocolate chips.
  8. Crumble remaining batter over caramel and return to oven.
  9. Bake an additional 15-20 minutes.
