Oven Fried Potatoes Recipe

I finally found the secret to crispy oven fries - parboil them first!

Ingredients
- 2 medium russet potatoes
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- garlic powder
- salt and pepper
Directions
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees F
- Scrub potatoes and slice into wedges lengthwise (don't peel)
- Put potatoes in a pot of cold water and bring to a boil
- Boil for 8-10 minutes
- Drain and spread potatoes on baking sheet
- Drizzle with olive oil, garlic powder and salt and pepper
- Bake for 25 minutes
- Turn potatoes over
- Bake for 25 minutes more or until browned and crispy
