Homemade Mayo Recipe
Quick homemade mayo. Only good for 3 days inthe fridge. This is anothe one with no measurements. You kind of need to eye it out and season it to your own taste.

Ingredients
  • 1 egg
  • Canola Oil
  • Salt
  • Lemon Juice
  • Paprika

Directions
  1. Drop room temp egg into blender
  2. Turn Blender on
  3. Drizzle oil into blender until it starts to look creamy
  4. When it has emulsified add salt, lemon juice and paprika
  5. Turn off blender
  6. Scrape into bowl
  7. Add seasonings to taste
  8. Discard after 3 days

Is there any way for me to make it if I don't have a blender or hand mixer?


I've never tried to make it by hand, but I imagine it would be like whipping cream or egg whites by hand. Probably long and tedious :)


I tried to make homemade mayo once before and swore never to again. Maybe I did it wrong. Is this a good recipe?
