Habanero Pepper Sauce Recipe

This gives hot a whole new meaning. If you like hot this sauce is for you. I like it but I love hot and spicy food. This is good over beef. Enjoy

Ingredients
- 12 habenero peppers stems removed and peppers chopped
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 1/2 cup chopped carrots
- 1/2 cup chopped onion
- 1/2 cup distilled vinegar
- 2 cloves garlic minced
- 1/4 cup lime juice
Directions
- Sauté onion and garlic in oil until soft then add carrots with a small amount of water.
- Bring to a boil then reduce heat and simmer until carrots are soft.
- Place mixture and raw chilies into a blender and puree until smooth.
- Combine puree with vinegar and lime juice then simmer 5 minutes.
- Seal in sterilized bottles.
