How to make it

  • Boil all ingredients (except eggs) for 5 minutes and then pour into
  • wide-mouth jar or container and add hard cooked eggs.
  • Let set overnight in refrigerator.
  • Will keep for weeks.

    My husband and I have an acquaintance who makes great pickled eggs but refuses to disclose his "secret" recipe, the bum. This looks like it's really close to what he does. I always see peppercorns floating in the jar when he drops one that part of the pickling spice? I've never used pickling spices before, so I have a lot to learn. I really want to try this!
