I usually just sprinkle them with lots of salt, I've never had them with a sauce - but garlicky vinegary sounds yummy! Sorry can't help you out there.

Hi there in Puerto Rico we call these Tostones try them hot with a fresh paste of garlic and salt to taste i make them all the time for my family since i have platano plnts in my back yard yummmmy

I made these for the first time the other night - they are addictively good! For the oil, I used half grape seed oil and half coconut oil - as these oils are both great for frying.
