Legal Seafood Style Baked Scallops

- 2 lbs sea scallops shopping list
- salt and pepper shopping list
- 1 teaspoon fresh thyme leaves, minced shopping list
- 1/2 cup buttermilk shopping list
- 2 cups hand crushed Ritz crackers shopping list
- 1/2 cup butter, melted shopping list
- 1 small lemon, halved shopping list
- For two servings reduce scallops to 3/4 lb, thyme to 1/2 tsp. and Ritz to 1 cup and melted butter to 1/4 Cup or to taste shopping list
How to make it
- 1.Preheat oven to 400°F.
- 2.Place scallops in a bowl, season with salt and pepper, add thyme and buttermilk and toss to coat.
- 3.Place scallops evenly in the bottom of an oven proof dish, sprinkle with cracker crumbs and top with melted butter.
- 4.Bake for 20 minutes, squeeze lemon over scallops and serve immediately.
