How to make it

  • Pre-heat oven to 375
  • Melt butter in large (deep) casserole dish
  • Mix together: flour, sugar and milk
  • Pour over melted butter
  • Spoon pie filling over top
  • Bake at 375 for 30 min

    Use a deep baking dish. Mom's was round, mine is oval. Not sure what size they are... your favorite casserole dish should work.

    I have always wrecked cobbler too, mama! Last time I tried, the cobbler was raw in the middle yet burnt onto the sides of the pan. Sparow- what size baking dish do you use for this recipe?

    You CAN make this cobbler, Organicmama! The batter rises to the top, you just slop it together and it comes out great!
