How to make it

  • For smoother soup grind mushrooms, for a chunky soup place sliced mushrooms in a large pot with the chicken stock, wine and shallots; simmer uncovered 15 minutes until wine is cooked down. Cover and simmer 15 minutes. Melt butter in a saucepan; add flour and stir till blended. Add half & half and stir unitl thickened. Add to mushroom mixture. Add spices, salt and pepper. Simmer 15-20 minutes. Add hot sauce. Enjoy!
