Ingredients
  • 2 pounds hashbrowns thawed
  • 16 oz sour cream
  • 1 can cream of __________ (use celery, mushroom, chicken etc) soup
  • 1/4 tsp pepper
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 stick melted butter
  • 2 cups shredded cheese (your choice)
  • 2 T minced onion
  • for topping:
  • 2 cups crushed cornflakes
  • 1/4 cup melted butter

Directions
  1. mix all ingredients (except for topping). Place in a greased 9 x 13 pan
  2. mix topping. sprinkle on top of casserole
  3. bake 350 degrees for 1 hour
