Chocolate Mint Brownies Recipe

	Sparow64 / All my dishes 2 years ago Another Christmas tradition at Mom's house. Came from her vast collection of cookbooks. Fudgy brownie, creamy mint icing, and a chocolate glaze on top! Chill 1 hour after frosting, before glazing. Prep:20m Cook:25m Servings:32	Sparow64

Ingredients

BROWNIES:

1/2 c butter, softened

1 c sugar

4 eggs

1 t vanilla

1 16 oz can chocolate syrup

1 c. flour

FROSTING:

1/2 c butter, softened

2 c powdered sugar

2 T milk

1/2 t peppermint extract

Few drops green food color

GLAZE:

1/2 c semi-sweet chocolate chips

1 T shortening

Directions

Preheat oven to 350

Grease 11x15 pan

BROWNIES

Cream butter

Add sugar & eggs

Mix well

Stir in remaining brownie ingredients, blending well

Pour into well greased 11X15 pan

Bake 20-25 min, cool

FROSTING

Mix all ingredients well

Frost cooled brownies

Chill 1 hour

GLAZE

Melt together shortening and chocolate chips

Blend well

Drizzle over frosted brownies
