This is easy and very tasty. Can't go wrong serving this delight. Everyone loves it. Hope you do too.

Ingredients
  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons molasses
  • 8 slices dry bread

Directions
  1. Preheat a griddle or large heavy skillet.
  2. Combine egg, milk, salt and molasses in a shallow dish.
  3. Dip bread slices into mixture coating both sides.
  4. Pan fry bread in butter until golden brown on both sides.
  5. Serve hot with butter and your favorite syrup.
