This was really good. A quick to make meal that won’t heat up your kitchen on a hot day. No need for steamed rice also. I made half of this recipe using pre-cut beef for stir fry from the grocery store and frozen stir-fry veggies. I sautéed some sliced onions with the beef. For me, onions belong in every stir fry recipe. I boiled the veggies in the skillet using chicken broth instead of water for about 3 minutes then added the Ramen noodles (do not break up the noodles) boiled for another 3 minutes. Cooking the veggies first avoided over-cooking of the noodles. I omitted using the seasoning packet that came with Ramen noodles, no need for it because of the stir fry sauce. After adding the stir fry sauce, the sautéed onions and beef - I only heated it till all was warm, about 90 seconds, certainly not the 3 – 5 minutes called for in the recipe.

This recipe saved me from starvation through years of childhood and college. Thanks for giving it a shout-out. I emailed it to my brother cuz I think he'll like the additional veggies.

    Sounds yummy!!! ^_^
But don't the noodles go mushy after cooking them so long?! Here we cook them in 2-3 minutes... this recipe cooks them 5 times longer!
