I love pumpkin fudge! This is a pretty good recipe and I did not have any trouble getting it to set up. Unfortunately, mine turned out dry and grainy despite using a candy thermometer. See more in IMI:

Does this fudge get firm? I've tried two other recipes, only to have them never get firm enough to cut, let alone pick up. I'd love to try yours, if someone tells me it definitely gets hard enough. Thanks for sharing!

Michelle, you are wonderful for sharing this recipe with all of us =D I made this to go with my Thanksgiving day Munchie Dishes and it is delicious! Mine didn't have the same orange look as yours so I am not sure if I was just making too many things at once and made a slight boo-boo? The flavor is incredible =D

Michelle, I have been wanting to make pumpkin fudge for a while but I have always wondered about the consistancy of the candy with the addition of pumpkin puree. This looks wonderful! Almost like pumpkin pie in fudge form w/white chocolate. . .thank you for sharing the recipe =D

I'm your friend too! I'd be on the way to OM's house. This sounds so yummy and yet good for you because of the pumpkin. Make sure to tell the kids it's good for them so they will leave it alone and there will be more for you!
