Earthquake Cake

Another great recipe handed down through the generations
Ingredients
- 1 cup coconut shopping list
- 1 cup pecans, chopped shopping list
- 1 box German chocolate cake mix (or you can use butter pecan) shopping list
- 8 oz package cream cheese shopping list
- 1 lb powdered sugar shopping list
- 1 stick butter or oleo, melted shopping list
How to make it
- Grease and flour an 8x14 inch pan
- Spread coconut and pecans on bottom
- mix cake according to package.
- Pour over pecans and coconut
- Melt butter, add cream cheese and sugar. Mix well
- Spread over cake batter
- Bake in preheated oven at 350 degrees for 45-50 minutes or until done.
- Note: you may cut back on the water in the cake mix and substitute rum
- To make cream ceese mixture thinner, add black coffee
