How to make it

  • Grease and flour an 8x14 inch pan
  • Spread coconut and pecans on bottom
  • mix cake according to package.
  • Pour over pecans and coconut
  • Melt butter, add cream cheese and sugar. Mix well
  • Spread over cake batter
  • Bake in preheated oven at 350 degrees for 45-50 minutes or until done.
  • Note: you may cut back on the water in the cake mix and substitute rum
  • To make cream ceese mixture thinner, add black coffee
