How to make it

  • deep fry the tilapia until golden brown on both sides
  • using a mortar and pestel bashed garlic, shallots and chilli snd salt into a fine paste (or just finely sliced them)
  • using alittle oil saute this paste with low heat until fragant add water coconut milk and the rest of the ingridients cook until the sauce is thickened,
  • taste it should be rich ,hot, spicy and not sweet (sugar is only to balance the flavor not to make it sweet)
  • if it's not salty enough you can add alittle more salt
