How to make it

  • Beat sauce until smooth and bring to a boil over high heat.
  • Stir in gelatin and sugar. Simmer 10 mins. stirring frequently.
  • Remove from heat. Stir in pectin. Stir for 10 minutes.
  • Pour into 9 inch buttered pan.
  • Chill until firm (2 hours)
  • Invert onto waxed paper and cut into 1 inch squares.
  • Melt chips and shortening together ina double boiler. Dip squares into chocolate mixure and let set on waxed paper.
