Vegetarian Mushroom Escargots Recipe
Like escargot-- but vegetarian. Serve with lots of french bread to soak up the garlicy sauce.

Ingredients
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 2 tbs. finelly chopped onion
  • 2-3 cloves garlic, mashed
  • 2 tbsp chopped parsley
  • salt and pepper
  • 24 medium mushrooms

Directions
  1. Preheat oven to 375ºF. Melt butter, add onions, garlic and parsley. Stir.
  2. Remove from heat and season.
  3. Arrange mushrooms in a baking pan, gill side up. Pour garlic butter over mushrooms.
  4. Bake 15 to 20 minutes. Serve with crusty french bread.
