Ingredients
  • 2 parts plaster of paris
  • 1 part water
  • large mixing bowl and spoon
  • 6 inch fluted paper plates, 3/4 inch deep, 1 person
  • toothpicks
  • paper clips
  • Seasonal Items, dried flowers, flag, holly (optional)

Directions
  1. Mix together th Plaster of paris and water in a large bowl.
  2. Stir until the mixture is smooth.
  3. Pour plaster into eacxh paper plate.
  4. Let plaster set for 12 to 15 minutes, until it is fairly firm.
  5. Assist each child in pressing one hand down into the plaster.
  6. Remove hand carfully.
  7. Press a small seasonal object near the thumb if desired.
  8. Wait 5 minutes.
  9. With a toothpick, have each child scratch thier name into the plaster.
