Ingredients
  • Liquid Starch
  • Paper plate, matt board, or cardboard
  • Water
  • Tempura or food coloring
  • Brushes
  • Salt
  • ~
  • Mix:
  • 1/8 cup liquid starch,
  • 1/8 cup water, and
  • 1 tablespoon tempura or 2 squirts of food coloring, plus
  • 1/2 cup of table salt.

Directions
  1. Apply mixture to background with a brush.
  2. Keep stirring mixture.
  3. Painting will crystallize as it dries.

I like that....never grew up!


I am a retired teacher and I fill my spare time by supply teaching. This is a super idea. I always added liquid starch to tempura paints but never thought to add salt to create this salt painting concept. HIGH 5!
