Ingredients
- Liquid Starch
- Paper plate, matt board, or cardboard
- Water
- Tempura or food coloring
- Brushes
- Salt
- ~
- Mix:
- 1/8 cup liquid starch,
- 1/8 cup water, and
- 1 tablespoon tempura or 2 squirts of food coloring, plus
- 1/2 cup of table salt.
Directions
- Apply mixture to background with a brush.
- Keep stirring mixture.
- Painting will crystallize as it dries.

I am a retired teacher and I fill my spare time by supply teaching. This is a super idea. I always added liquid starch to tempura paints but never thought to add salt to create this salt painting concept. HIGH 5!
