Salt Painting

- Liquid Starch shopping list
- paper plate, matt board, or cardboard shopping list
- water shopping list
- Tempura or food coloring shopping list
- Brushes shopping list
- salt shopping list
- ~ shopping list
- Mix: shopping list
- 1/8 cup liquid starch, shopping list
- 1/8 cup water, and shopping list
- 1 tablespoon tempura or 2 squirts of food coloring, plus shopping list
- 1/2 cup of table salt. shopping list
How to make it
- Apply mixture to background with a brush.
- Keep stirring mixture.
- Painting will crystallize as it dries.

I am a retired teacher and I fill my spare time by supply teaching. This is a super idea. I always added liquid starch to tempura paints but never thought to add salt to create this salt painting concept. HIGH 5!
